7. Move the cursor to ALARM area, and select either ON
or OFF with the A or B button, then press the ENTER.
The SENSOR IN terminals #1 through #8 on the rear
panel correspond to the video switch numbers on the
menu.The default setting is ON.
ON: The camera aims at the preset position when the
corresponding sensor (alarm) input is supplied.
OFF: The alarm input does not link to the video switch.
8. Repeat above steps for the remaining video switches.
9. Move the cursor below to the DEFAULT NO. field. Enter
a video switch number from among 0-8.
The default view appears in the following cases.
when the unit is turned on
when the unit enters the standby mode after termi-
nating communication
when the unit starts sequential scan
When 0 is set, AUTO mode assigned to the combina-
tion camera will continue. When other than 0 is set,
the camera stops AUTO mode and moves to the desig-
nated default position (1-8).
440 AUDIO
You can set the audio transmission mode in this menu. Set
for both Remote and Control sites. This setting is available
only when the unit is not in communication.
1. Open the 440 AUDIO menu.
2. Select the mode with the A or B button. The default
setting is G711-mu.
G711-mu: Select this when the unit is used in the USA
or Japan.
G711-A: Select this when the unit is used in the
Europe.
OFF: Transmission disabled.
450 VIDEO
You can set the video transmission mode in this menu. Set
for both Remote and Control sites. This setting is available
only when the unit is not in communication.
1. Open the 450 VIDEO menu.
2. Select a menu you wish to set up from the 451,452, and
453, then press the ENTER. The selected menu
appears.
451 VIDEO BIT RATE/MOTION (Transmitter only)
This setting is available at the TRANSMITTER. From the
Control site MOTION setting is also available through the
520 window during communication.
1. Open the 451 VIDEO BIT RATE/MOTION menu.
2. Move the cursor to VIDEO BIT RATE and select a rate
with the A or B, then press the ENTER.The default set-
ting is 1024.
0: No video transmitted.
16: 16 kbps (kilo-bit per second)
32: 32 kbps
64: 64 kbps
128: 128 kbps
256: 256 kbps
384: 384 kbps
512: 512 kbps
768: 768 kbps
1024: 1024 kbps
3. Move the cursor to MOTION and select a parameter
with the A or B button, then press the ENTER. The
default setting is NORMAL.
SLOW: Video quality oriented, but motion is slow.
NORMAL: For normal use.
FAST: Motion speed oriented, but video quality is low.
