2.8 Self-check
2.8.1 Self-check Procedure
The self-check is a function to check the memory etc. mounted in the emulator. To run the self-check of the emulator, do so as
explained here below. While the self-check is in progress, the LEDs will change as shown in Figure 2.6. In case of ERRORs 1
to 4, because the target status LEDs will change depending on errors, check the system status LEDs.
(1) If the user system is connected, disconnect it.
(2) Within 2 seconds of activating power to the emulator, press the system reset switch on the emulator front panel to switch
the emulator to maintenance mode.
(3) Check the "SAFE" LED starts flashing and then press the system reset switch again.
(4) The self-check will start. If the normal result is displayed in about 30 seconds, the self-check terminated normally.
