3.2 Replacing the Evaluation MCU
It is necessary to replace the evaluation MCU according to the MCU you use.

To debug the 7643 Group, it is necessary to replace the evaluation MCU to the included M37643M8-
XXXFS.
When replacing the evaluation MCU, align the No. 1 pin as shown in the Figure 3.2. Especially be
careful not to insert the MCU in a wrong direction. Otherwise, it may cause a fatal damage to the
MCU.
The M37641M8-XXXFS is mounted on this product when shipped from the factory.

(1) Check the position of the MCU socket.
(2) Remove the evaluation MCU from the MCU
socket.
Insert tweezers into the notches at the four
corners of the socket. Then lift the MCU with
the tweezers slowly to remove it.
(3) Attach the evaluation MCU to the MCU
socket.
Align the No. 1 pin of the evaluation MCU
(see left) to mount another MCU into the
socket. Be sure to press down the MCU
until you hear it click.
