7. Wiring

Check that input and output power plugs are firmly seated. Do not exceed the
rated capacity when connecting loads to the output terminals. Check that
plugs and cards are firmly seated in the external interfaces. Failure to observe
these precautions can result in electric shock, fire, or bodily injury.

The input power plug must be grounded. Failure to ground it can result in
electric shock.
7.1 UPS Wiring

Check that MAIN SW is in the “OFF” position.

Connect the INPUT power plug of the UPS to a
utility power outlet.
The INPUT power plug is a 3-prong grounded type.
If the utility power outlet is a 2-prong type (there is no ground terminal), use a 3-prong ground
adapter such as WH2432P (Matsushita Electric) or ME2920 (Meikosha).
