Schneider Electric AP9630 Network Card User Manual

75UPS Network Management Card 2 User’s Guide
If a keyword, section name, or value is invalid, the upload by the receiving NMC succeeds, and additional event
text states the error.
Messages in config.ini
A device associated with the NMC from which you download the config.ini file must be discovered
successfully in order for its configuration to be included. If the device (such as a UPS) is not present or is not
discovered, the config.ini file contains a message under the appropriate section name, instead of keywords and
values. For example:
UPS not discovered
IEM not discovered
If you did not intend to export the configuration of the device as part of the .ini file import, ignore these
messages.
Errors generated by overridden values
The Override keyword and its value will generate error messages in the event log when it blocks the
exporting of values.
See “Contents of the .ini file” on page 73 for information about which values are overridden.
Because the overridden values are device-specific and not appropriate to export to other
NMCs,
ignore these error messages. To prevent these error messages, delete the lines that contain the
Override
keyword and the lines that contain the values that they override. Do not delete or change the line containing the
section heading.

On Windows operating systems, instead of transferring .ini files, you can use the Device IP Configuration
Wizard to update the basic TCP/IP settings of the
NMC and configure other settings through its user interface.
See “Device IP Configuration Wizard” on page 72.
