Mount the Power Server and Power Supply only in a horizontal position as
shown in Figure 3–3.

To mount the Power Server on a DIN rail, follow these steps:
1. Turn off power to the Power Server and any equipment into which it is to
be installed and verify that power is off.
2. Ensure that the DIN rail is attached horizontally to a surface with a
minimum thickness of 0.078 in (2 mm) for stability.
3. Place the Power Server on the DIN rail with the upper slot first. Then push
against the lower edge to snap it on the rail.

• Turn off all power supplying this equipment and the equipment in which
it is installed before working on this equipment.
• Always use a properly rated voltage sensing device to confirm that
power is off.
Failure to follow these instructions will result in death or serious
injury.
