Connection Diagram
Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation.
1. Power down your PC and unplug it from the
power source.
2. Connect the active RF coaxial cable to the
connector on the back of the cable modem labeled
CABLE IN. Use an optional cable signal splitter
to add a TV, a DHCT or set-top converter, or a
VCR.
3. Connect either the Ethernet port or the USB port
on the back of the cable modem to your PC using
the appropriate supplied cable.
4. Insert the power cord into the power supply on
the back of the cable modem, and then plug the
cord into an AC power source.
5. Plug in and power on your PC.
6. Configure the TCP/IP protocol, or install the USB
drivers from the supplied diskette, whichever is
necessary for your system.
