Connecting to a network (LAN)
Your computer comes with a preinstalled Ethernet interface. This function is enabled by default.
Should you need to enable the function yourself to connect to a network, proceed as follows:
1 Right-click on My Computer on the desktop and select Properties.
2 Click the Device Manager tab.
3 Under the Network Adapters category, select SiS900 PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter.
4 Click Properties.
5 Click Enable Device and then click OK.
6 Click OK to close the System Properties window.
The Ethernet connection is now enabled.
!
Connect only 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX cables to the Ethernet port. Using other cables or a telephone cable may cause a malfunction, excessive heat
or even fire in the port.
