To change the default view of the taskbar and the start menu, proceed as follows:
1 Click Start, and select Settings.
2 Click Taskbar and Start Menu.
The Taskbar and Start Menu Properties dialog box appears, where you can make the required
settings.
I want to change the resolution of my display
To change the resolution of your display, proceed as follows:
1 From the Start menu, select Settings, and then Control Panel.
2 Click the Display icon.
The Display Properties dialog box appears
3 Select the Settings tab.
4 Move the Display area slider to change the resolution.
5 Click OK.
About CDs and diskettes
My CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive tray does not open
To open the CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive, proceed as follows:
With the Eject button:
1 Make sure the power is turned on.
2 Press the Eject button on the disc drive.
With the My Computer icon:
1 Double-click the My Computer icon on the Windows

desktop.
