Operating Basics
Disabling or enabling wireless devices
Fn + F8: This hot key enables/disables the wireless devices installed in
your computer.
The wireless modes are:
■ Enable all Devices: Enables the Wi-Fi, Bluetooth
®
and 3G modules.
■ Disable all Devices: Disables the Wi-Fi, Bluetooth
®
and 3G modules.
■ Enable or Disable Wi-Fi: Enables or disables just the Wi-Fi module.
■ Enable or Disable Bluetooth
®
: Enables or disables just the Bluetooth
®
module.
■ Enable or Disable Wireless WAN: Enables or disables just the Wireless
WAN module.
Regulatory Information
FCC compliance does not apply to this product with a Wireless WAN
Module installed.
Industry Canada (IC) compliance does not apply to this product with a
Wireless WAN Module installed.
LAN
The computer has built-in support for Ethernet LAN (10 megabits per
second, 10BASE-T), Fast Ethernet LAN (100 megabits per second,
100BASE-TX). This section describes how to connect/disconnect to a LAN.
Do not install or remove a memory module while Wake-up on LAN is
enabled.
