Installing the Battery pack
To install the battery pack, confirm that the computer is shut down. Then follow the steps
below and refer to Figure 4-4 and 4-5.
CAUTION: The battery pack is a lithium ion battery, which can explode if not properly
replaced, used, handled or disposed of. For environmental reasons, collect
the spent battery packs. Use only batteries recommended by Toshiba for
replacements.
Handle the battery pack with care of followings:
1. Set the battery pack to the cover assembly. Make sure the battery pack is installed
securely.
2. Secure the battery pack with the following screws.
• M2.5×5C FLAT HEAD screw ×6 (Described as “5” in the Figure 4-5)
3. Connect the battery harness to the connector CN8110 on the system board.
