SCANNING FOR THE FIRST TIME 21
The destination application is the application in which the scanned item
appears after the scan has finished. You can change the destination
application and will learn how later in this guide.
To test your scanner:
1. Before starting, find an item to scan, such as a letter, magazine
article, or report.
2. Place the item to scan on the glass, face down, and press the button
on the scanner.
During scanning, the scan progress window shows a small copy of
the image, as illustrated by this example:
When the scan is complete, the scanned image appears in the
PaperPort software.
