12. Detach the thermal module from the main board and disconnect the fan cable then remove the thermal
module.
13. Use a flat-headed screwdriver to release the CPU lock.
14. Remove the CPU from the socket carefully.
15. Remove the three screws fastening the PCMCIA slot.
16. Detach the PCMCIA slot from the main board.
17. Remove the two screws fastening the modem board.
18. Disconnect the modem board from then main board and disconnect the modem board cable then remove
the board.
