SECURITY: WPA
For businesses and larger organizations with an 802.1X RADIUS authentication server, choose
this Wi-Fi protected Access (WPA) mode—not WPA-PSK. The PSK refers to a pre-shared key (or
password) used to initialize authentication. This is the most common method of implementing
WPA wireless security. For businesses and organizations with an 802.1X RADIUS authentication
server, choose WPA mode (not WPA-PSK).
RADIUS Server IP. Enter the server’s IP address.
RADIUS Port. Enter the authentication tcp/udp service port number. Default is 1812 (per
RFC 2026).
RADIUS Shared Key. Enter the key shared between the RADIUS server and the router.
Tip: This router is compatible with Microsoft 2000’s RADIUS Server (requires Service Pack 3 and
HotFix Q313664) and these clients:
Microsoft Windows XP Professional (without Service Pack 1)
Microsoft Windows XP Professional (with Service Pack 1a)
