Chapter 10. Toolbox
After logging into the router, click on the Toolbox link [A]. Choose from one of the six sub-menus
[B].
This section provides quick access to some important tools, plus specialty functions that will be
valuable to only a few network administrators.
Toolbox Description
View Log View system log.
Firmware Upgrade Download and then update the router’s internal software.
Backup Setting Save a copy of the router’s current firmware and settings.
Reset to Default When all else fails, go back to the original factory settings.
Reboot Restart the router. Similar to power off/on.
Miscellaneous Wake-on-LAN and ping.
