Chapter 3: BIOS setup
Chapter 3
CPU Digital I/O Voltage [Auto]
Allows you to set the amount of voltage fed to the analog portion of the input/output
of the processor. Increase when increasing DRAM frequency. Use the <+> or <-> key
to adjust the value. The values range from 1.000000V to 2.200000V at 0.003125V
increment.
PCH Interfacing Voltage [Auto]
Allows you to set the reference voltage for transmission on the DMI path. Use the
<+> or <-> key to adjust the value. The values range from 1.000000V to 1.600000V at
0.003125V increment.
CPU Core Voltage [Auto]
Congures the amount of Voltage fed to the Cores of the processor. Increase when
increasing Core Frequency.
Conguration options: [Auto] [Manual Mode] [Offset Mode] [Adaptive Mode]
The following item appears only when you set the CPU Core Voltage to [Manual Mode].
CPU Core Voltage Override [Auto]
Use<+> or <-> key to adjust the value. The values range from 0.001V to 1.920V at
0.001V increment.
The following items appear only when you set the CPU Core Voltage to [Offset Mode] or
[Adaptive Mode].
Offset Mode Sign [+]
[+] To offset the voltage by a positive value.
[-] To offset the voltage by a negative value.
CPU Core Voltage Offset [Auto]
Use<+> or <-> key to adjust the value. The values range from 0.001V to 0.999V at
0.001V increment.
The following items appear only when you set the CPU Core Voltage to [Adaptive Mode].
Additional Turbo Mode CPU Core Voltage [Auto]
Use<+> or <-> key to adjust the value. The values range from 0.001V to 0.1920V at
0.001V increment.
Total Adaptive Mode CPU Core Voltage [Auto]
This item sums up the voltages of the CPU Core Voltage offset and Additional Turbo
Mode CPU Core Voltage items.
