Chapter 3
CPU SVID Support [Auto]
Set this item to [Enabled] when overclocking. Disabling this item prevents the CPU from
communicating with the external voltage regulator.
Conguration options: [Auto] [Disabled] [Enabled]
The following items appear only when you set the CPU Core Voltage to [Auto] or
[Disabled].
SVID Voltage Override[Auto]
This item allows you to set a VCCIN for the CPU during initial part of POST. Use the
<+> or <-> key to adjust the value. The values range from 0.001 V to 2.440V at 0.001V
increment.
SVID VDDQ Voltage Override [Auto]
This item allows you to set a VCCIN for the CPU before OS loading. Use the <+>
or <-> key to adjust the value. The values range from 0.001V to 2.440V at 0.001V
increment.
DRAM SVID Support [Auto]
Set this item to [Disabled] to stop the CPU from communicating with the external voltage
regulator. Disable this item when you overclock your system.
Conguration options: [Auto] [Disabled] [Enabled]
DRAM Voltage (CHA/CHB, CHC/CHD) [Auto]
This item allows you to set the voltage for the system memory. Use the <+> or <-> key to
adjust the value. The values range from 0.80V to 1.90V at 0.010V increment.
According to Intel
®
CPU specications, DIMMs with voltage requirement over 1.65 V may
damage the CPU permanently. We recommend that you install the DIMMs with the voltage
requirement below 1.65 V.
PCH Core Voltage [Auto]
This item allows you to congure the core voltage for the PCH (platform controller hub). Use
the <+> or <-> key to adjust the value. The values range from 0.70V to 1.80V at 0.00635V
increment.
PCH I/O Voltage [Auto]
This item allows you to congure the I/O voltage for the PCH (platform controller hub). Use
the <+> or <-> key to adjust the value. The values range from 1.20V to 2.20V at 0.00635V
increment.
VCCIO CPU 1.05V Voltage [Auto]
This item allows you to set the main power supply for the CPU REF. Use the <+> or <-> key
to adjust the value. The values range from 0.7000V to 1.8000V at 0.00625V increment.
