Logging off the serial console port and disconnecting the serial cable

NOTE
The addresses 10.0.0.0 through 10.0.0.255 are reserved and used internally by the Brocade
DCX 8510-4. External IPs must not use these addresses.
3. Set up the CP0 IP address by entering the ipaddrset -cp 0 command:
swDir:admin> ipAddrSet -cp 0
Enter the information at the prompts.
4. Set up the CP1 IP address by entering the ipaddrset -cp 1 command:
swDir:admin> ipAddrSet -cp 1
Enter the information at the prompts.
This is a sample IP configuration:

Logging off the serial console port and disconnecting the serial cable
You can use the serial port to monitor error messages through the serial connection. If the serial
port is no longer required, use the logout command to log out of the serial console, remove the
serial cable, and replace the plug in the serial port.
Establishing an Ethernet connection to the Brocade DCX 8510-4
After using a serial connection to configure the IP addresses for the Brocade DCX 8510-4, you can
connect the active CP blade to the local area network (LAN).
