InMacOSX10.2.8andlater,useBonjourfunctionstoeasilyconnecttheprintertothenetwork.Followthe
stepsbelowtocongurethedestinationifyouusetheprinteronTCP/IPnetwork.

•InMacOS9,ifthecomputer’sTCP/IPsettingshavebeencongured,youcanconnecttheprintertothe
networkaseasilyaswiththeBonjourfunction.
SelectIPPrint(Auto)fromtheDestinationlistinChoosertospecifythedestination.
Important
•BonjourandIPPrint(Auto)donotsupportprintingtoaprinteronothernetworkgroupsthatrequirea
routerforconnection.Makesurethecomputerandprinterareonthesamenetwork.Forinformation
aboutnetworksettings,askyournetworkadministrator.
•Bydefault,Bonjourisactivatedontheprinter.TheprinternameasdisplayedinChooserinMac
OS9orPrinterSetupUtility(orPrintCenter)inMacOSXispredenedastheMulticastDNS
ServiceName.YoucanactivateordeactivatetheBonjourfunctionorchangetheprinternamebyusing
