To enter a group registered under a coded speed dialling code:
Press Coded Dial use the numeric keys to enter the two-digit code assigned to the group you wish to fax.
(p. 4-6)
Ex:
The name of the group is displayed.
If you enter the wrong code, press Stop/Reset Coded Dial enter the correct code.
NOT REGISTERED appears if no fax number is assigned to the coded speed dialling code you entered.
Directory Dialling
Directory dialling allows you to look up the other party’s name you registered and retrieve the number for dialling.
This feature is convenient when you know the other party’s name but can not recall the one-touch speed dialling
key, the code for coded speed dialling, or group dialling where the number is registered.

Press Directory.
NOT REGISTERED appears if there are no numbers registered, and the display returns to dial entry mode.

Press a numeric key to enter the first letter of the name of the party you are searching for.
For example, if you want to search for a name that starts with the letter “H”, press 4 (GHI) twice.

Press OK.
Entries starting with the letter you entered are displayed.
If there is no entry that starts with the letter you entered, entries that start with the next letter will be displayed.

Press 4 (–) or e (+) to display the other names.
Pressing e (+) displays the names of other parties in alphabetical order.
Pressing 4 (–) displays them in reverse order.
When you reach the last name, the display returns to the first name.

Press OK.
The other party’s fax number and name, or GROUP DIAL and the group’s name appear.
