Close Printer Cover The printer’s front cover is open. To resume printing, close
the cover.
Insufficient Memory The print job was too complex for available memory. Try
one or more of the following:
❏ Close other applications while printing this job.
❏ Print the job in smaller sections.
❏ Try reprinting the job with a lower resolution, such as
300 dpi.
❏ Reformat the most complicated pages in the print job
to reduce graphics and other complex formatting.
Network Adapter Error The network adapter power is not on, or the network
adapter is not connected.
Port Busy The printer port is being used by other equipment.
Printing Failed The print job was too complex to be sent to the printer. Try
one or more of the following:
❏ Try reprinting the job with a lower resolution, such as
300 dpi.
❏ Reform the most complicated pages in the print job to
reduce graphics and other complex formatting.
❏ Try reprinting only the page on which the error has
occurred.
Service Error The Canon Advanced Printing Technology has detected an
internal problem in the LBP-1210 engine.
1Turn off and unplug the printer.
2 Open the front cover and remove the EP-25 cartridge.
3 Reinsert the cartridge properly. Use both hands to close
the front cover completely.
4 Plug in and turn on your printer.
5 If the error persists, contact your Canon authorized
service representative.
