38. Center the heat shrink tubing (2) over the solder joint
and heat using a heat gun. Heat the joint until the tub-
ing is tightly sealed and sealant (1) comes out of both
ends of the tubing.
39. Connect the electrical connector to the cigare
tte
lighter outlet and firm ly seat the outlet to the
shifter
housing.
40. Install the trim ring (5) onto the shifter cons
ole (6) and
seat fully.
41. Install the screws (2).
42. Install the b ezel (4) onto the t rim ring (5)
and seat fully.
43. Install the shift knob (3) onto the shifter
(1) and seat
fully.
44. Install the lower steering column cover.
