15. Remove one-half (1/2) inch of insulation from each
wire that needs to be spliced.
16. Place the strands of wire o verlapping each other in-
side of th e splice clip (1).
17. Using crimping tool, Mopar® p/n 05019912AA, crimp
the splice clip and wires together.
18. Solder the connection (2) together using rosin core
type solder only.
CAUTION: Do not use acid core solder.
19. Place a piece of adhesive lined heat shrink tubing (3)
on the w ire. Make sure the tubing will be long enough
to cover and seal the entire repair area.
20. Center the heat shrink tubing (4) over the joint and
heat using a heat gun. Heat the joint until the tubing
is tightly sealed and sealant comes out of both ends
of the tubing.
21. Insert the spliced pin back into cavity 3 of the connec-
tor.
22. Connect the connetor to the junction block.
