Examples
To check the hardware overcurrent status of IPDU #1, enter the following.
To reset the hardware overcurrent protection, enter the following.
id
The id command sets or displays the ID of a PM IPDU. A maximum of 16 characters (not case
sensitive) is allowed. Spaces, numbers, and special characters are allowed. This command is
available to the administrator user only.
This command works in a daisy chain.
Syntax
id [<IPDU#>] [<IPDU_ID>]
-or-
id [<IPDU_ID>] [<IPDU_ID>]
-or-
id
Arguments
<IPDU#> IPDU number in a daisy chain
<IPDU_ID> Identification string previously set by the id command
If <IPDU_ID> follows <IPDU#>, or if the <IPDU_ID> parameter is typed twice, the latest entry of
the <IPDU_ID> parameter updates the ID string.
no argument Displays the IDs of all PM IPDUs in the daisy chain
Examples
To set the ID of PM IPDU 1 R&D, enter the following.
pm>hwocp 1
IPDU #1: HW overcurrent protection is OFF.
pm>hwocp 1 reset
IPDU #1 was reset
pm>id 1 R&D
IPDU #1: id = R&D
