NVIDIA Control Panel Home Page
When you select a module, you can select specific tasks to accomplish what you want as explained in the next section,
"Accomplishing NVIDIA Control Panel Tasks."
Accomplishing NVIDIA Control Panel Tasks
You can access NVIDIA Control Panel tasks by clicking one of the icons in the primary tasks area under Select a
Category. Each category page lists different tasks that you can accomplish, and each task page provides instructions on
how to accomplish what you want. Move the mouse pointer over listed options to see a description and typical usage
scenario for the option.
The following sections provide a summary of the tasks available under each category.
Display
1. Primary tasks area — This area contains the group of tasks that
appear on the right section of the NVIDIA Control Panel interface. This
area of the screen is where you focus most of your attention as you use
the NVIDIA Control Panel to accomplish your goals.
2. Secondary tasks area — This area contains the group of tasks that
appear on the left section of the NVIDIA Control Panel interface. This
area contains tasks that do not directly accomplish the primary task but
are related to the primary task. Secondary tasks might bring up dialog
boxes, change the visual presentation of the screen's contents, or take
you to a different screen.
3. Menu bar — The menu bar contains standard Windows menus and
menus specific to the NVIDIA Control Panel, such as View and
Profiles.
4. Toolbar (optional) You can show or hide a standard NVIDIA Control
Panel toolbar for quick access to common tasks such as switching
between Standard and Advanced views, navigating between the Home
and other task pages, and so on.
The Display page lets you:
Change the resolution
Change the scaling on your
flat panel display
Adjust color settings
Rotate the display
Adjust custom timings
(available under Advanced
View)
Configure multiple displays,
including Spanning or Clone
modes.
