ON LINE Key
ON LINE
Normal Function Pressing this key you will obtain different results depending on the
printer status:
•
When the
READY
indicator is lit on, pressing this key you will cause
the stop of the printing at the end of the current line; the
READY
indicator blinks if there is some data left in the Input buffer,
otherwise the indicator is turned off and the
Wait
message will be
displayed.
•
When the
READY
is unlit or is blinking pressing this key the
printing will be enabled and the
READY
indicator
is turned on.
•
Pressing this key while powering the printer on, the message
Printing test
is displayed and the check test is executed. If you
want to stop the self-test press this key again.
Program
Function
Pressing this key you will obtain different results depending on the
interface configuration (parallel or serial interface).
•
In parallel configuration, the information in the Input buffer is reset
and the
Buffer cleared
message will be displayed.
•
In serial configuration, the information in the Input buffer is reset.
