About this Manual
This manual contains information about installing and operating
the Extron CIA111, CIA114, and CIA114F5 interfaces.
About the CIA111, CIA114, and CIA114F5
The Extron CIA111, CIA114, and CIA114F5 are wall box or
floor box mountable computer video interfaces. The CIA111
mounts to a wall or podium using a two-gang junction box
and has mounting spaces for up to four single-space Mini
Architectural Adapter Plates (MAAPs). The CIA114 mounts in
a one-gang junction box and the CIA114F5 is designed to fit the
Steel City
®
665 floor box.
All three models feature image shift and monitor emulation
adjustments from the front panel. Sharpness and output sync
can be adjusted using rear panel controls. Each interface
accepts one computer video input (15-pin HD), one unbalanced
stereo audio input, and a 15-pin HD buffered local monitor
output. The interfaces can output audio as either balanced or
unbalanced signals.
Features
Image shifting control — Shifts the displayed image to the left
or right when you press a front panel rocker button.
Sharpness control — Provides image enhancement for high-
resolution signals by increasing clarity and image detail,
and compensates for signal loss during long cable runs.
One-button monitor emulation — Allows you to use the
interface without a monitor.
Audio buffering — The interface accepts unbalanced stereo
computer audio and can output a balanced or unbalanced
signal.
Auto power — The interface turns on automatically when it
senses that an input cable is connected.
Power — The unit's 100 VAC to 240 VAC external power supply
provides worldwide power compatibility.
