Upgrading main memory
The slots for the main memory are suitable for 256, 512, 1024 and 2048 Mbyte DDR-DIMM memory
modules. The organization in three memory banks 0 to 2 enables fast memory access with
interleave. The board supports a maximum of 12 Gbytes.
Two identical memory modules must be installed per memory bank. Partial equipping of a memory
bank is not possible. The equipping sequence of the memory banks is arbitrary.
!
You may only use registered DDR DIMM memory modules. Unbuffered memory modules
are not permitted.
DDR DIMM memory modules must be designed for a clock frequency of 266 MHz
(meets PC2100 specification).
