ABOUT THIS GUIDE
The E Series LifeBook™ from Fujitsu PC Corporation is
a powerful notebook computer. It is powered by an
Intel® Pentium® III microprocessor with SpeedStep™
Technology, has a built-in color display, a number of
possible configurations, and brings the computing
power of desktop personal computers (PCs) to a
portable environment.
This manual explains how to operate your LifeBook’s
hardware and built-in system software. Your notebook is
compatible with the IBM® PC AT.
It comes with Microsoft® Windows® 98 Second Edition
or Windows 2000 Professional pre-installed.
The LifeBook is a completely self-contained unit with an
active-matrix XGA TFT color LCD display. It has a
powerful interface that enables it to support a variety of
optional features.

Keyboard keys appear in brackets.
