Removing the LH 3 CPU Baseboard
1. Remove cover 2.
2. Open the CPU baseboard retaining latches until they point away from the
chassis, and the CPU baseboard has come out of its socket.
3. Slide the board out of the chassis (see Figure 2-2).
Removing the CPU Baseboard Guide and Air Baffle
The LH 3/LH 3r CPU baseboard is smaller than the LH 4 board, and it uses a
different guide to hold its position. The LH 3/LH 3r also uses an air baffle plate
that would interfere with the LH 4 CPU baseboard, and you must remove it to seat
the new CPU baseboard.
1. Remove cover 3.
2. Locate the CPU baseboard guide and air baffle, shown in Figure 2-2.
3. Remove the CPU baseboard guide and air baffle from the chassis.
