Loading an Operating System on the Thor VX8
If it becomes necessary to reload the operating system on a Thor VX8, there are two options available.
1. A recovery DVD for the Thor VX8. The recovery DVD is customized to the type of hard drive and operating system
installed in the Thor VX8.
2. A user provided operating system. The user must:
l Provide their own installation source of a supported operating system (such as Windows XP or Windows 7)
l Have a valid activation key for that operating system
l Have a Thor VX8 Drivers CD ROM for the Thor VX8. This CD contains the drivers necessary to support the Thor VX8
devices when used with commercially available Microsoft Windows operating system installation media.
