IBM ImageUltra Services
is a set of custom image creation services that can simplify deployment by combining multiple languages,
hardware platforms and up to two operating systems into a single deployable image.

Designed for enterprise customers, this set of custom image
creation services is now available for use by in-house IT staff
to build their own ImageUltra images and to quickly deploy
them. In addition to supporting many IBM desktop and
ThinkPad systems, ImageUltra Builder has been tested on
selected desktops and notebook systems from Dell, Fujitsu,
HP/Compaq, Legend and NEC, and on notebooks from
Toshiba. While some configurations may not be compatible, a
system must meet the following minimum requirements to be
eligible for support:
• Intel platform with 400MHz Pentium processor
• 128MB RAM and 100MB available hard disk space
• Removable media drive
• Microsoft WHQL certification for all device drivers
• Windows 2000 or Windows XP, XP Pro, XP Home operating
system

• Easier to use Menu with ‘drag and drop’ user interface
• Customise and preview options help you tune your image
deployment to perfection
• Full integration with IBM Rapid Restore Ultra
• Support from IBM Imaging Services (IITC)

Rapid Restore Ultra provides a hassle-free one-button recovery
solution that lets a user restore data, files, applications and
operating system from their own hard disk drive. Rapid Restore
helps you increase uptime and helps reduce IT costs by
creating a complete image backup stored in a protected
partition on the hard drive. Designed with flexibility in mind,
RRPC helps restore the complete image or individual files even
if the system becomes corrupted by simply pressing the F11
key.
This unique hard disk drive comes pre-loaded with IBM Rapid
Restore software to enable a complete image backup of user
and system data. (40GB standard capacity)
