PartnerWorld for personal systems offers a wide range of
benefits designed to increase your sales and make it easier to
do business with your customers.
Core benefits include:
• Marketing and sales: Designed to enable IBM Business
Partners that sell or recommend the broad range of IBM
products, services and e-business solutions. Offerings include
sales and marketing tools, plus customisable marketing
collateral to enhance your marketing and communication
process.
• Education: Provides access to the extensive portfolio of IBM
business, sales and technical education offerings, helping you
build the skills needed to sell and support the IBM Personal
Systems portfolio.
• Technical support: Gives you access to technical support
on IBM products and solutions, primarily through electronic
channels. The support is designed to help you provide your
customers with both pre-sales and post-sales support.
• Reseller Advantage Programme : All IBM Business
Partners qualified as Advanced or Premier in 2003 PCD and
xSeries Track are entitled to participate in the IBM Reseller
Advantage Programme (RAP).
The RAP programme gives additional earning as a rebate
paid directly from the IBM Business Partners selected
distributor.
IBM Business Partners who qualify as Premier level on PCD
and xSeries track have the opportunity to earn bonus RAP
payments if additional objectives are met.
• Know Your IBM Programme : Know your IBM is a
permission marketing programme. It is targeted to individual
sales representatives within an IBM Business Partner
organisation.
The programme leverages skills and learning to maximise
sales. IBM Business Partners sales representatives will be
incented to complete ‘e-learning’ modules that introduce key
technologies and strategies as well as providing highlights of
how to sell solutions. They can earn rewards based on two
aspects of the programme :
1. Successful completion of Learn objectives. This enables
sales representatives to raise their awareness level of
important strategies and sales and marketing programmes.
Rewards are earned in the form of points, when sales
representatives successfully complete defined training
modules. These Points can then be used to select goods
and services from an on-line catalogue
2. Achieve Sell objectives. The more IBM Business Partner
sales representatives learn, the more they can win. The
more IBM Business Partner sales representatives sell, the
more they can earn.
IBM Business Partner sales representatives must be
qualified PartnerWorld Premier or Advanced to participate
and will have to register with the Know Your IBM programme
to activate their entitlement to earn incentives.
Know Your IBM is available in UK, France, Germany, Italy,
Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.
