Setting a Leading/Trailing Edge Margin
You can set a margin at the leading or trailing edge of the copy. You can also
make a copy using a narrower margin than that on the original.
S You can set up to
±99 mm, ±4.0" margin in 1 mm, 0.1" steps at either the
leading or trailing edge.
S You can set a trailing margin only when you select the Synchro Cut function.
S When you set a leading margin, the copy image is shifted to the trailing edge
for the margin.
When you make a copy in the "Manual Feed," "Preset Cut," or "Variable Cut"
mode, the copy image might extend off the paper depending on the leading
margin width.
S Set a leading margin of 5 mm, 0.2" or more when you copy an original whose
leading edge has a large solidly-shaded area.
