Chapter 7: Replacing the fuser kit
11 Close the fuser cover.
Note:
When a new fuser is
installed, you must reset the fuser
counter to zero.
12 Reset the fuser counter to zero.

Make sure the printer power switch is off (O)
and the printer is plugged into a properly
grounded outlet.

Press and hold the Select and Return buttons
on the operator panel.

While holding the Select and Return buttons,
place the printer power switch to on (I).
The
Configuration Menu
is displayed on the opera-
tor panel.

Press Menu> or <Menu until
Reset Fuser Count
appears on the second line of the operator
panel.

Press
Select
to reset the fuser counter to zero.
