Installing the USB device driver for Windows Me

Switch on your computer and start Windows Me.

Switch on the printer. Do not yet connect the USB cable.

Check that Windows Me has finished loading and that the printer is
ready.

Insert the Software and Documentation CD-ROM supplied with your
printer into your computer’s CD-ROM drive.

When the installing screen appears, close it.

Connect the printer to the computer with the USB cable
(see page 2-16) to display the Add New Hardware Wizard dialogue.
