Select: CONFIG: Transmit: Frequency
Edit the Tx Frequency, using either step 1 or 2:
1. Key in the desired frequency using the numbered keypad.
2. Select the digit to be edited, using the
arrow keys. The value of the digit is
then changed using the arrow keys. The user should then press [E]
7/140 MHz
52-88, 104-176 MHz (in 100 Hz steps)
L-Band
950-2000 MHz (in 100 Hz steps)
Spectrum Normal or Invert, (used to counteract frequency converters that invert the
spectrum)
IMPORTANT
When entering an IF frequency, the M&C will check the occupied
bandwidth calculated from the data rate, modulation type, code rate
and overhead and will not allow an IF frequency to be entered if the
occupied bandwidth falls outside of the minimum or maximum IF
frequencies.
Select: CONFIG: Transmit: Power
State
Permits the user to select On or Off.
Level
Permits the user to edit the Power Level from –40 dBm to +10 dBm in 0.1 dB
steps by either:
1. Key in the desired number using the keypad.
2. Select the digit to be edited using the
ef arrow keys. The value of
the digit is then changed using the
bcarrow keys.
3. The user should then press [E].
Control Permits the user to select Normal or RTS. RTS is an interface signaling
control. It stands for Request to Send. If enabled RTS can be used to control
the output state of the modulator. Only available when using either the EIA-530
or HSSI interface.
