Installing Director
This chapter describes how to install and connect Director devices. The procedure for installing Director follows these
basic steps:
Plan the installation1.
Unpack and inspect the Director device2.
Install the DNM modules 3.
Install the SFP and XFP modules 4.
Rack mount the Director device5.
Connect power to Director6.
Connect the command line interface (CLI) RS-232 DB9 port or the Management port7.
Log into the CLI8.
