You can change the modes of multiple ports in a single command by specifying the ports in the portlist. Use a comma to
separate items in the list, and use a dash (-) to indicate a range. For example, this portlist includes the rst three ports
in DNM 1 and the rst port in DNM 2: ports=n1.1-n1.3,n2.1

Set the Current Date and Time
Director maintains a time-of-day clock which is used to record the time of trafc peak utilization events. Time is based
on the 24-hour clock. The clock must be initialized using the CLI or another management tool.
To change the current date and time:
Enter 1. time hh:mm:ss where hh is hour, mm is minutes, and ss is seconds.
Enter 2. date mm/dd/yyyy where mm is month, dd is day of the month, and yyyy is year.
Example: time 12:20:00

Save and Load Director Congurations
The entire conguration of Director, including port congurations and lters, can be saved to and loaded from les
stored on Director's internal disk drive. When working with these les from within the CLI, specify only a lename (up
to 32 characters long) without an extension. The current conguration is automatically kept in a le named defaultcfg.
This le is automatically loaded at power up or when the system is reset, so your conguration is persistent. However,
you may wish to save copies of various congurations that you use for different purposes. For example, each person
that uses the device can maintain a separate conguration.
TosavetheDirectorconguration:
Enter • save <lename> where <lename> is the name for this conguration. The conguration is saved.
ToloadaDirectorconguration:
Enter • load <lename> where <lename> is the name of a saved conguration. The conguration is loaded.
ToviewalistofallsavedDirectorcongurations:
Enter • list. A list of Director congurations is displayed.
ToviewasavedDirectorconguration:
Enter • show <lename> where <lename> is the name of a saved conguration. The conguration is displayed.
