Installation
The following table shows the status of link activity for the BSG8ew WAN port LED:
BSG12ew/aw/tw link activity and PoE LEDs
Each LAN port on the BSG12ew/aw/tw has one LED that indicates link activity and one PoE
LED. The link activity LED turns on when an Ethernet cable is connected to the corresponding
port. The PoE LED indicates whether PoE is enabled. For more information, see “BSG12ew/aw/
tw link activity LEDs” on page 27, “BSG12ew/aw/tw POE LEDs” on page 28, and the following
table.

Link/Act LED Status Description
Green On The WAN/LAN port is Link Up at 100 Mb/s.
Green Flashing The WAN/LAN port is sending or receiving data.
Green Off The WAN/LAN port is not operating.
Amber On The WAN/LAN port is Link Up at 10/10 Mb/s.
Amber Flashing The WAN/LAN port is sending or receiving data.
Amber Off The WAN/LAN port is not operating.
Both WAN/

Off No connection.
