ISDN BRI Voice Module
The ISDN BRI Voice Module (IVM-BRI/ST/2 - NTAU76CA) provides the
Passport 4400 unit with ISDN interface for connection to an ISDN PBX, ISDN
phone, or other ISDN protocol and provides external clocking capability.
Note:
The previous release of the modules (NTAU76AA and
NTAU76BA) did not provide the BRI clock sync module for
external clocking.
The NTAU76CA requires Ethernet Base Module NTAU01CA Rev. 05, or later.
With a Passport 4450, if the ISDN BRI Voice Module is in the top slot (E), you
must use Rev. 03 or later.
The BRI module connects to the trunk side of an ISDN PBX, serving as one half
of an ISDN tie trunk that connects two ISDN PBXs.
