Compatible Discs
Avoid direct sunlight, high

Do not scrub the recording
surface with a dry cloth.

Handling
DVD-RAM variations
Do not write or adhere labels on
the disc except for on the label
side.
BWrite on the label side only with a soft,
oil-based felt pen. Do not use ballpoint
pens or other hard writing implements.
Do not use benzine, paint
thinners or other solvents.
Disc may be damaged or become
deformed, and data cannot be written or
read properly.

DVD-RAM is a removable disc developed as a DVD to which data can be
written, aiming at reading and writing large computer data.
There are the following types of DVD-RAMs.
B TYPE1
The disc inside cannot be removed.
B
TYPE2
A single sided disc. The disc inside can be removed.
B
TYPE4
A double sided disc. The disc inside can be removed.
B
Non-cartridge type
This drive is only compatible with non-cartridge type DVD-RAMs.
To use TYPE2 or TYPE4 DVD-RAMs, remove the discs from cartridges.
Handling Discs
Data may not be written correctly or data that has already been written may be damaged if
these discs are not handled correctly. Incorrect handling may also damage your drive.
