Installing Writing Software
■ B’s Recorder GOLD5 BASIC / B’s CLiP5
BHA B’s Recorder GOLD5 BASIC and B’s CLiP5 are included on the
CD-ROM supplied with this drive. Install them from the CD-ROM. For
installation and handling, refer to B’s Recorder GOLD5 BASIC and
B’s CLiP5 PDF manuals included on the CD-ROM supplied with this drive.
Using this drive, data cannot be written to or erased from DVD media.
BWriting Software (B’s Recorder GOLD5 BASIC)
This multi-function writing software allows you to create your own data CDs
and DVDs, and Audio CDs.
BPacket Writing Software (B’s CLiP5)
This writing software allows you to write the files to CD-RW just like writing
to floppy disk.
Cautions:
BIf an earlier version of the same application or another company’s software
program that is equivalent to the supplied one is already installed in the
computer, uninstall them before installing the application supplied with this
drive. Co-existence of B’s CLiP5 with other companies’ packet writing
software or UDF reader in the same computer environment may cause
problems.
BInstall the writing software after USB Driver and UDF Reader installation are
complete (p.24, 27).
BFor Windows XP, disable Windows XP standard writing function when using
B’s CLiP5.
Note:
BFor Windows 2000 / XP, log in as a member of the users of Administrator
group when installing.
