Operation
Before Installing Applications
If an earlier version of the same software or another company’s writing /
DVD-Video playback software is installed, uninstall them before installing the
software supplied with this drive.
If not installed, go to next page.
■ Uninstalling Software
The expression may differ depending on Windows OS versions. Follow the
equivalent prompts or instructions.
1 From the Start Menu,
select [Control Panel]
➝ [Add or Remove Programs].
[Add or Remove Programs] window appears.
2 Select the software you want to remove from
[Currently installed programs:], then click [Change/Remove].
3 After removing the software, close
[Add or Remove Programs], then restart the computer.
Windows XP
1 From the Start Menu,
select [Settings]
➝ [Control Panel] ➝ [Add/Remove Programs].
[Add/Remove Programs] window appears.
(For Windows Me / 98SE, [Add/Remove Programs Properties])
2 Select the software you want to remove from
[Currently installed programs:], then click [Change/Remove].
3 After removing the software,
close [Add/Remove Programs], then restart the computer.
