Voice Mode Transmission
If you wish to send the document(s) after talking with other party first, use Voice Mode Transmission. Your
machine requires an optional fax handset or an external telephone.
Off-Hook Dialing
For Off-Hook Dialing, follow the steps below.
Make sure that the FAX lamp is ON. If not, press to select the "FAX MODE".

Place original(s) face up on the ADF.

Place a book or an original face down on the Platen
Glass.

Lift the fax handset or the external telephone and
dial the telephone number from the keypad or use
Phone Book Dialing.
