This item selects the emulation to be used whenever the parallel port is
active. The emulation should be set to match the type of printer your
software supports.

This item enables or disables the ability to control the optional Ethernet
interface card from the front panel. When set to On, the Serial Interface is
not available, and menu items for the Ethernet card follow. Consult your
Network Administrator before changing any of these items.
Note: Setting this item to On when the optional Ethernet interface
card is not present or optional control loop-back cable may
result in the printer appearing to “hang” when exiting the
Setup Menus. After 15 seconds, a LAN Timeout error will be
displayed. Press ONLINE, then enter the Setup Menus and
correct the problem.
