Paper Feeding Problems
Problem
Paper is jammed during
printing.
● Clear paper jam.
Paper sticks together.
● Make sure there is not too much paper in the paper
bin. The paper bin can hold up to 100 sheets.
● Remove paper from the bin and flex or fan the paper.
● Humid conditions may cause some paper to stick
together.
Paper fails to feed.
● Remove any obstructions inside the printer.
Solution
Paper skews or buckles in
the automatic sheet
feed.
● Make sure there is not too much paper in the bin.
The paper bin can hold up to 100 sheets.
● Make sure the paper guides do not cause the paper to
bow in the bin.
● When loading paper, do not force it down into the
printer.
● Make sure the envelope guide is not in the envelope
position.
Multiple sheets of paper
feed.
● When loading paper, do not force the paper down into
the printer.
● If multiple sheets have caused a paper jam, clear the
paper jam.
