Clearing jams
Document jams while sending a fax
If a document jams while you are sending it, ‘DOCUMENT JAM’ appears
in the display. Do not pull the document out of the slot, as this could harm
your machine.
1. Open the control panel by hand.

3. Carefully remove the jammed document. Then pull down the stopper
and close the control panel firmly until it clicks into place.
2. Flip up the control panel latch in front of the left side arm to hold the
control Panel open.
