To remove a PC Card
FollowthestepsbelowtoremoveaPCCardwhileyourcomputerison.IfthePCCard
is not properly removed, your system may malfunction. When your computer is off,
skip steps 1 to 6.
1 Click the Start button on the Windows
®
taskbar, point to Settings, then click
Control Panel.
2 Double-click Add/Remove Hardware.
3 Click Next, click Uninstall/Unplug a device,andthenclickNext.
4 Select the name of the appropriate PC Card in the list, and then click Next.
5 Click Next to confirm that you want to unplug the PC Card.
6 Click Finish.
7 Press the PC Card release button.
8 Gently grasp the card and pull it out.
