To remove a PC card

Click the Start button, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.

Double-click PC card.

Click the name of your PC card from the list that displays.

Click the Stop button, and then OK.

Push the release button.

Gently grasp the card and pull it out.

Follow the procedure below when you remove the PC card while your computer is on. Failure
to follow this procedure may result in a malfunction. When removing the card while your
computer is off, skip steps 1 through 4.
